The Dow Jones News Fund will educate much more than 100 university students to perform this summer months in compensated internships in 77 newsrooms all around the place. This signifies the major class in almost a 10 years and just one of the most numerous in the Fund’s heritage.
Twenty-9 interns will go to the Information Fund’s virtual business enterprise reporting method, led by Paul Glader, a professor and director of the McCandlish Phillips Journalism Institute at The King’s Faculty.
10 other company reporting interns will attend a virtual coaching session led by Glader and Garry D. Howard, director of company initiatives at American Town Enterprise Journals, prior to reporting to operate at ACBJ publications in 10 markets around the nation.
Howard, a Information Fund board member and an alumnus of the 1981 enhancing program, made the DJNF-ACBJ partnership in 2015.
