As the soccer club prepares for its initial street sport of the younger Canadian Premier League period this weekend, FC Edmonton has obtained far more depth for its midfield.
The team declared Friday it has acquired 23-year-outdated Bicou Bissainthe from Pacific FC on loan.
“We are incredibly excited to welcome Bicou to our group and to our league,” FC Edmonton head coach Alan Koch said in a news release.
“He’s a multipurpose player, who can enjoy centre again and also a defensive midfielder, and with our scaled-down roster, we will use him in each of these positions.”
Bissainthe invested final season playing in the Armenian Premier League. He has also performed professionally in the U.S. and scored 3 goals when playing for Haiti’s nationwide U20 workforce.
“He has experienced great ordeals with the Haitian countrywide crew and in Europe, and we appear forward to getting him integrated into our crew as rapidly as possible,” Koch said.

FC Edmonton has no wins or losses so considerably this year following the team’s very first two matches ended in a draw.
The Eddies will take on Forge FC in Hamilton on Saturday.
